You sit on heavens mercy seat high in heaven above
and look upon all your children and offer them all your love
so many children know you and many others ask why
you watch over them and see them when they cry
they call out to you because they cannot understand
why they go through what they do,even when your work is at hand
you want them to love you and look into their hearts
and when they accept you, from them you will never depart
